Y’all, I am *super excited* that today is the release day for the anthology “Changing on the Fly”, which features six stories of m/m hockey romance for your reading pleasure! My story is called “Next Season” and it’s about a young defenseman, Nick Miles, who’s traded along with a Big Name Player to a new team in Philadelphia. The team is terrible but Nick doesn’t mind — it’s the first time he’s been on an NHL roster and not playing in the minors. He’s also got a huge crush on his teammate, Everett Sparrow, who also made the trip from Buffalo to Philly…but who isn’t quite so thrilled about making the move. Nick and Everett share a townhouse as the season winds down, learning they have a bit more in common than they might think.
I really enjoyed writing this story, and I’m so incredibly proud to be a part of this project. As an LGBTQA individual, and a sports fan (especially hockey!) it means a lot to be able to give back to the community by doing something I love. 100% of the proceeds from the anthology will be donated to a charity that fosters LGBTQA inclusion among athletes, fans, coaches, and everyone involved in athletics from the amateurs to the pros. The anthology is available for a limited time only, so grab your copy and help support an inclusive and positive athletic community!
